Hannah Gansen is a musician, writer, stand up comedian, and music teacher. Born and raised in Iowa, she has traveled the world performing her music and stand up comedy at various venues including The Improv, Laugh Factory, Comedy Store, Zanies, and IO Chicago. She's participated in numerous festivals like WICF, LA Comedy, IIG Awards, and North Sea Jazz Festival. In addition, she's been featured on the homepage of Funny or Die, Fuse, NUVO TV, and NPR's American Parlor Songbook. Her two studio albums, Al the Bum (2013) and Cockmaninoff (2019) are currently available in all digital stores.


Hannah not only has a passion for performing, but for education as well. With years of experience and music study, she has degrees in Music Theory and Children's Education. She teaches piano, voice, and music theory to students of all ages.
